My diagram for Bloom's taxonomy :)

Image
✨ Hi!  ✨ Here's a photo of my visual representation of Bloom's taxonomy. I decided to present it as if it was the progression of a storm.   To my mind, each drawing depicts a stage for learning. First, when we remember facts they might be blurry as though covered in ☁️clouds☁️. Then, as we go through the different stages, we realize that these ideas    💧 can be connected , that's when learning starts to grow,  as the rain which starts light  🌧  but becomes denser in time⛈️. For me, the tornado at the top is a representation of how powerful knowledge is when internalized and used for creating something new. 🌪️🌪️

What great feedback is for me...

For the following entry I have  included two mindmaps, one  simply stating the  commandments and another  one including  a brief explanation  for each.

How does my learning style affect my teaching?

↪  According to a test we took during our Professional Practice class I'm first a kinesthetic learner💫🙆‍♀️, second a visual learner🌈👀 and third an auditory one👂.  ↩ This makes sense since, during my classes you can always find me  writing down 👀, underlyning👀, repeating👂 or moving to signal important ideas🙆‍♀️. KINESTHETIC Part of my teaching involves acting out situations with a little exaggeration💃. Besides, I'm a person and a teacher who makes a lot of hand and facial gestures. 💁‍♀️ Furthermore, my activities normally imply changing places,🏃‍♂️🏃‍♀️ walking around the room, roleplaying 🎭 and even some outside the classroom for a change.🏫 I have also noticed that  moving my hands helps me organize ideas, this happens as if the concepts were just floating around and I get to bring them in front of me to organize them in their corresponding place.🙌👎🤞👉 VISUAL Whenever I teach a grammatical topic I have to write it down for them to see?...

About me..

To all of you who don't know me, I'm Elia Naomi.   My acquaintances call me Naomi and some teachers, refer to me as Elia. Besides, those who are fond of me may allow themselves to call me  a variety of nicknames which I mostly enjoy and will definitely not mention.   :) A fact about me is that I love dancing,  even though there are times of the day when I'm physically incapable of doing so.   My limbs are too stiff that  my attempts to gracefully move it (like the song)   are nothing but an embarrassment.   Another fact is that I love the sky  as well as nature.   I'm in love with water in general,  being it rain, or lakes or the sea. Tears don't count. When it comes to teaching, I have what you would call some experience. Here I am with my students from the last bimester at CELEX.   As you can see we're about the same age. It's always fun to enter the classroom on the ...
