Pros and cons of studying online (from the perspective of a disorganized student)
So... the semester is almost over and
I thought it would be a good idea to share my experience with
this whole shift to online lessons.
HOW DO I FIGHT THE CONS?
1) Doing all that's possible in order to have a schedule and respect it
(as it can be clearly seen, I don't always succeed in this aspect)
2) Being more active during the day helps me sleep better at night, also putting
the phone away before going to bed works.
3) Breathing exercises and rest periods in order to reduce eating out
of stress. (It helps setting an alarm so that these
periods are reasonable, I'm still working on this)
4)Some thoughts are not useful for the moment, instead of getting
distracted with them you can write them down and revisit
them later (still not an expert in this or any of the above but hopefully
you can be more consistent and find this useful )
I can relate to all of this, especially the parts of getting too distracted and having a messed up schedule; however, as you mention, I think the key is to stay active and be as organized as possible with your tasks. Glad to know you are being proactive about it too.
